Taco Pizza

This is delicious.  This is a hit with everyone in my family.

 

This is my version from Cooking Light: Super Fast Suppers. 

 

1 lb. hamburger meat                                1/2 c. chopped onion

1 (15 oz) can Rotel tomatoes                  1 (10 oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough

cooking spray                                               4 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Optional:  salsa and sour cream

 

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.  Cook hamburger meat and onion until browned, stirring to crumble.   Drain.  Return meat mixture to pan.  Stir in Rotel.  Cook over medium-high heat 1 minute or until thoroughly heated; set aside.  Unroll pizza crust dough.  Press into bottom and halfway up sides of 13 x 9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.  Spoon meat meat mixture over pizza crust dough.  Bake at for 12 minutes.  Top with cheese, and bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts and edges of crust are browned.  Top with salsa and sour cream if desired.
