Glazed Carrots with Walnuts

These are good, sweet carrots, and healthy at the same time. (Kevin Wilson)

This is from Gluten-Free Cooking for Dummies. 

3 cups of carrots                             1/4 tsp. cinnamon

2 Tbsp. butter                                  1/8 tsp. salt

3 Tbsp. chopped walnuts            1/8 tsp. pepper

1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Cook carrots, then drain the water and put the carrots in a bowl.  Melt butter in the pan and add the walnuts.  Saute the nuts for one minute, then add the sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.  Stir to combine.  Add carrots back to saucepan until they are evenly coated with glaze.  Now, they are ready to serve.
