Sauteed Summer Squash

This is a delicious squash recipe. This is our version from Paula Deen’s “Southern Cooking Bible.” The original recipe calls for an onion, but since we didn’t have one, we omitted it. We’ll have to try it with onion next time. (Kevin)

2 TBSP Butter
6 small squash cut into rounds
1 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. black papper

In a large cast iron skillet, melt the butter. Add the squash and seasonings. Cook until slightly browned.
