Spicy Touchdown Chili

Kevin made this delicious chili for us. This chili has a punch to it! It is from “Taste of Home” Sept/Oct 2013 issue. This is his version.

1 lb hamburger meat
1 lb sausage
2 cans kidney beans, drained
2 cans pinto beans, drained
2 cans Rotel
1 can diced tomatoes with onions
12 oz chicken stock
6 pieces of cooked, crumbled bacon
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 c. chili powder
1/4 c. chopped pickled jalapeno slices
2 tsp ground cumin
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. dried basil
3/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions: Fry hamburger meat, then sausage until well done. Add all ingredients. Cook in crock pot for 4-6 hours.
