K & T Cheeseburger Mac

We are blessed to have Tabitha Randolph in our lives.  She has blessed our family with respite for several years now.  Kevin picked out a recipe to cook, they went shopping for ingredients, and then they cooked this delicious one-dish casserole.  Kevin and Tabitha took the recipe off a Velveeta cheese box and turned it into a masterpiece by adding a liberal amount of seasonings!  This is their version of Cheeseburger Mac.

1 lb lean ground beef

1 1/4 tsp. salt

1  Tbsp. pepper

2 Tbsp. garlic powder

2 Tbsp. onion powder

1/3 c. chili powder

1 1/4 c. water

3/4 c. milk

1/3 c. ketchup

1 pkg. (12 oz.) Velveeta Shells and Cheese Dinner

1 medium tomato, chopped

Brown ground beef.  Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.   Add water, milk, and ketchup.  Bring to a boil.  Stir in Macaroni.  Return to boil.  Reduce heat to medium-low; cover.  Simmer 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender.  Add Cheese sauce from package and tomato.  Stir until well-blended.
