Fiesta Bang Impossible Cheeseburger Pie
This recipe can be cooked in the traditional manner or make a few additions like Kevin and Tabitha did and you’ll have a fiesta bang! This is their version of Bisquick’s Impossible Cheeseburger Pie.
Traditional:
1 lb ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs
shredded lettuce
chopped tomato
2 c. crushed Fritos
sour cream
Fiesta Bang:
You can use up to 1/2 c. chili powder and 3 tsp. Black pepper
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook ground beef and onion. Drain. Stir in salt and Rotel tomatoes (chili powder and Black pepper, for Fiesta Bang). Spread in greased 9″ pie plate. Sprinkle with 1 c. cheese. Stir remaining ingredients with fork until blended. Pour into plate.
Bake 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Top with shredded lettuce, remaining cheese, chopped tomato, crushed Fritos, and a dollop of sour cream.
Serve with corn.
