Luscious Lemon Pie

Sweet, tart, creamy, fluffy, luscious, delicious, perfect!  You won’t taste a better lemon pie than this one! And you won’t find one easier to make!  This quick and easy recipe comes from Taste of Home’s Quick Cooking, January/February 2006 edition.  (Renee and Kevin Wilson)

1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese,

1/2 c. sugar

1 can (15 3/4 oz) lemon pie filling

1 carton (8 oz) Cool Whip

1 (9 in)  graham cracker crust

In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.  Beat in half of the pie filling.  Fold in the Cool Whip.  Spoon into crust.  Spread with remaining pie filling.  Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
