Hamburger Steak in Onion Gravy

Wow!  Was this ever delicious and hearty, too!  Everyone in the family loved it!  You can feed a family of four this main course which costs less than $10 to make!  This is Kevin’s version from A Taste of Heaven: A Collection of Recipes by Faith Fellowship Church, Silverdale, WA, and is brought to you by his Kickstarter Backers.

Ingredients:

1.25 lb hamburger (93/7 preferable)
1 egg
1/3 c. bread crumbs
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. olive oil
2 T. Flour
2 c. water
1 pkg. Onion Gravy mix
Directions:
Combine meat with egg, crumbs, seasonings, and one tbsp. of the onion gravy mix. Shape into patties and fry in oil. Remove hamburgers whe done. Add flour to the drippings and brown lightly. Blend in water. Stir until smooth. Stir in remaining soup mix. Cook 5 minutes. Return to skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
