Lamb Burgers

January 15, 2016

“Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow.”  We don’t know whether this lamb’s fleece was as white as Mary’s lamb’s fleece, but we do know its meat was very delicious.   Kevin and I braved cooking a new meat, and the reward was indeed, worth the risk.  In fact, to our surprise, everyone in the family raved about it!  Thank you Kickstarter backers for supporting Kevin’s version of “Lamb Burgers” from Leaky Gut Cookbook.

1 lb. ground lamb

1/2 onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1/4 tsp. seal salt

NOH Foods of Hawaii Hawaiian Seasoning Salt, Garlic Herb (Garlic, Onion, Black Pepper)

1 tbsp coconut oil

In a bowl, combine lamb, onion, lemon juice and salt.  Mix well.  Form into patties.  Sprinkle Hawaiian seasoning on both sides of patties.  Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan. Fry patties until cooked according to preferences, medium, well-done, etc.
